May 12, 2009

COLUMBUS, Ohio-Tracewell Systems has been awarded a significant assembly integration and test program for a global telecom corporation specializing in digital video networking.

The program was originally designed and manufactured in Israel and Germany. Through its program management and project management services group, Tracewell successfully moved the complete program to its Westerville, Ohio manufacturing facility. The shift to the Tracewell facility happened on time and without error, while also adding increased managed services value to the customer.

"The end result for the customer is better testing and quality validation, along with documentation and yield reporting capabilities," states Rob Harris, vice president of sales and marketing, Tracewell Systems. "Tracewell will be manufacturing 1,000-2,000 units annually under the current agreement."
