Tracewell Systems Attending 2011 Air Force Worldwide Technical Workshop
COLUMBUS, Ohio—Tracewell Systems announces its participation in the 2011 Air Force Worldwide Technical Workshop being held in Destin, FL on March 15 through 17, 2011. The goal of the event is to provide a collaborative environment and catalyst to enhance government and private industry partnerships, deepen the enterprise and personal relationships across the Air Force Technical Order (TO) community and to set goals and standards for the future.
Tracewell Systems will be showcasing its recently released 10‐drawer CAC Mobile E‐Tools cabinet, which easily expands to 16‐drawers. The network‐ready, mobile cabinets control access to drawer content, monitor access transactions and alarms, and connect each drawer's computer to the network to enable remote management of the asset, user access rights, software, patches and connectivity.
The live display will demonstrate a single network client administering multiple cabinets; user setup, unique profiles, access rights by tech, along with many other rich features. Each cabinet incorporates an on‐board access control panel, CAC smart card and PIN code reader for two factor identity authentication, managed IPv6 layer 3 Ethernet network switch, power surge management, intelligent thermal management, drawer position sensor (open, closed), eTool sensor (present, not present), relay and electronic lock and multi‐color status LED lights (red, green, amber). The cabinet(s) communicates via encrypted channel to the DIACAP certified and accredited Velocity Security Management System which provides network access control administration, alarm monitoring, load balancing and a variety of tracking and audit reports.
