Printed Circuit Board Design
Tracewell designs multilayer PCB’s for electronic assemblies and
backplanes using Cadstar. We have an exten sive library of parts, both
thru-hole and surface mount, which can be imported into the design. The
connection list, components library and BOM are all generated, using
part allocation and imported into Cadstar and Oracle from the schematic
developed in Cadstar. We also have the capability to review OrCAD
schematics and modify/design PCB’s with Protel. In addition to card
design, Tracewell has the ability to import a 3D model of the PCB
assembly into either of our mechanical design packages to accurately
model the overall design. |
Electronic
Design, Simulation and Analysis
Accomplished using PSpice and Mathcad. Using analog and digital
oscilloscopes, dataloggers, thermal analysis equipment (including
environmental chambers), network analyzers, programmable AC & DC voltage
sources and DVM’s, extensive testing is performed in Tracewell’s engineering
laboratory. Additionally, Tracewell performs conducted & radiated
emissions, as well as, lightening strike, fast transient and line surges
& sags in our in house EMI/EMC laboratory and life testing in our HALT
facility. |
