Tracewell has designed the industry's first fully CAC-secured, remotely-managed cabinet that can house a variety of electronic devices and other valuable assets. The powerful Velocity software service can detect and report on a number of different events such as; possession of the device, date of possession and when the cabinet was returned and whereabouts of the user.
Each cabinet incorporates an onboard access control panel, CAC smart card and PIN code reader for two-factor identity authentication, managed Ipv6 Ethernet network switch, power surge protection, and intelligent power and thermal management. Each drawer includes A/C power, a network port, drawer position sensor (open, closed), content sensor (present, not present), relay and electronic lock, and a multi color status LED. The rugged, wheeled cabinet is designed for worldwide use in maintenance hangers and soon will be deployed directly on the flight line.
